A behind-the-scenes look at Michael doing a recording test of Steve’s Minecraft profile on the MacBook Pro. It seems to have been a success!
Minecraft for Mac. I play on a macbook pro with Intel Iris and Minecraft works just fine. Script handwriting; the text of a play, TV program, or motion picture Not to be confused with: scrip – a certificate to be exchanged for goods or cash script (skrĭpt) n. Optionally install a Text Editor such as Atom to edit XML files. BUT, minecraft on single player with distance on 'tiny' and all applications closed, it just cant handle, it so jumpy that its actually impossible to play. I would have thought a laptop that costs this much and has this high specs would be able to handle minecraft. My old laptop was the white macbook from late 2008, this is a link to the specs.

We use OBS Studio for recording, using full display capture. The MacBook Pro has a native resolution of 1280×800. This resolution can cause problems in editing because of its non-standard aspect ratio. Fortunately, the newer MacOS is capable of forcing the resolution to 720p. You can configure this by going to “System Preferences” then “Displays”. Hold down the “Option” key and click on “Scaled”. This will unlock more resolutions in the list, including 720p.
Next we have the problem of getting the game’s audio to both OBS Studio and the player’s headphones. We do this with the help of SoundFlower and a “multi-output device”. You can create multi-output devices in the “AudioMIDI Setup” utility. This device will take whatever audio it receives and send it to two or more other devices. We configure it to output to both the player’s headphones and Soundflower. We then configure OBS Studio to record audio from Soundflower. Next the multi-output device is set as the system default and both the player and OBS Studio can hear the game!

Because we play multiplayer games, we also need to be able to communicate with each other. For this, we use Discord. Discord is a light-weight and easy to use Voice-over-IP and chatroom application. It was designed with gamers in mind and does its job well.

The wonderful people over at Mojang Studios have released a new Minecraft game called Minecraft Dungeons! At its most basic level, it’s a Diablo-like game set in procedurally created dungeons that are created with that wonderful Minecraft aesthetic. It is a standalone title and does not require Minecraft in order to play. They have moved away from class systems like in other similar games such as Diablo 4 so players can pick and choose their gear at will. PC gamers who want to play Minecraft Dungeons will need a computer that passes the official system requirements test.

Interestingly enough, the only system requirements for Minecraft Dungeons actually falls in between the minimum and recommended requirements for vanilla Minecraft. You’re going to need a decent Intel Core i5 or its AMD equivalent for your CPU. The video card requirements are even a bit higher than Torchlight 3 which still doesn’t even have a release date yet. Ideally, your computer should have at least a GeForce GTX 660 or a Radeon HD 7870 in order to play Minecraft Dungeons well. Lastly, you are going to want at least 8 GB of RAM to keep your computer trucking through those dungeons.
